The National Association of Home Builders announced that it has named The Puerto Rico Builders Association (PRBA) a Grand Award winner as part of the 2022 Annual Membership Awards.
The HBA was selected in its size category as the association with the nation’s highest Retention Increase for 2022.
“For the PRBA this recognition confirms our commitment to accomplish our mission of promoting and leading the planned, safe, and sustainable development, at the time we continue to serve as an economic driver for our Island. We aim to continue closely collaborating with the private and public sectors in Puerto Rico along with all of our members that day by day support the PRBA’s efforts for the betterment of the Island”, said Nory Rivera, Esq., Executive Director of the PRBA.
NAHB’s Grand Awards honor local and state HBAs that have demonstrated exceptional achievement in membership growth and retention. These awards are given to the top association from each group size in several membership categories including numerical increase, percentage increase, annual retention rate and highest increase in Affiliate members.
“An NAHB Grand Award represents The Puerto Rico Builders Association’s commitment to its members and creating a welcoming community for all,” Judy Dinelle, 2023 NAHB Membership Committee Chairman said. “NAHB recognizes local organizations for their outstanding achievements in member recruitment and retention each year to celebrate their success as we strive to serve everyone in the home building industry.”
The Puerto Rico Builders Association’s recruitment and retention efforts included several strategies, including round tables, forums and learning sessions with top-notch speakers and participants, monthly luncheons with the intervention of key government officials and opinion makers in a way to provide the latest information to our members, as well as our main event, the annual convention and golf tournament. These efforts helped foster a strong sense of community and attracted new members to the organization.
For over 70 years, the Puerto Rico Builders Association has strived to serve developers, investors, and builders in the changing social, economic, and environmental ecosystem of our Puerto Rico. Established in 1951, the association has been recognized as a relevant force in the construction and real estate sectors of Puerto Rico’s economy, by government and private sector decision-making leaders, providing the platform for connecting with all players of the real estate industry.
